ATS - Automatic Transfer Switch for Generator

Panels consisting of multiple rays and contactors are combined to transfer power usage from the PLN network to the local Genset network in a building or electricity usage installation.
This panel is controlled by several dellay timers, including for:
1. Full transfer of power from the PLN network to the Genset network
2. Full power transfer from the PLN grid network generator
3. Full Autostart Generator
4. Generator Shutdown Control after the Generator is no longer used

Control Wirring

1. Control of Electric Power Transfer from the PLN Network to the Genset Network
Dellay timer is used here to set the time when the PLN network that is being used moves to the Genset network. Setting takes a few seconds / seconds to wait for the transfer time and also to wait if the PLN grid is truly OFFLINE / off or just for an instant in the absence of electric power.
The setting time for this dellay timer is between 3-5 seconds, the goal is that the waiting time is not so long from the first second of the PLN OFF LINE network / off to the ignition time to the Genset network.
If this happens it will result in consumers who are in the building or a place to lose power for too long; computers, air conditioners, printers, CCTV, or other electronic devices will suffer damage or work failure. Likewise with others, for example
Pilot Lamp of ATS
in public services, hospitals, mosques, entertainment venues, restaurants and supermarkets, there will be more complaints from consumers if there is too long a blackout or loss of power.

2. Full control of power transfer from the PLN grid generator network
Contrary to the information above, the Dellay Timer here functions to adjust the transfer time from the Genset network to the PLN network, after the PLN electricity network is back to normal.
The time setting for this timer is between 20-25 seconds / second, due to waiting or ensuring certainty that the PLN network is stable and not OFF LINE again

3. Autostart Generator Control
After the PLN network is off and losspower / no power will be detected by a relay that will connect to the Autostart system on the ATS panel and activate the Stater contact on the Generator, so that the generator is running / active.
After the generator is activated, it will be connected to the power network of a building by an auto transfer system, which consists of power transfer from the PLN network to the Genset network and vice versa control of the transfer of power from the Genset network to the PLN network.

4. Generator Shutdown Control after the Generator is no longer used
If the PLN electricity network is stable and the delay time from the Dellay timer is up, because the timer setting in this section is calculated when the electricity grid of a building / power consumption is normal to the PLN electricity grid. Begin the delay timer counts down for about 2 minutes and turns off the ignition system until the generator really does not run anymore.
The system mentioned above must be connected to one another, each part must function properly as well. If not, then the ATS system will be defective and the power transfer and the Genset ignition system will fail / error so that the ATS will not run / function as expected.
